The plugin does scrape some pages if the API doesn't have it. But, in this case, I haven't seen an example of the quotes, and don't use a Kindle device to create them for testing.

And alternative is the Annotations plugin. It can read annotations from devices, and can import from files exported from apps. It doesn't support many apps, but they can be added.
