No reflection on you whatsoever, in posting this--you post whatever you find, the good, bad, and the ugly. But I failed to be impressed, when I received my email about the Sale and skimmed over it.
First, I don't consider $7.00 per audio book a particularly good deal. The price of Audible's Daily Deals is usually well below that. The most common price point for the audio book companion to a Amazon book is $7.50.
< < < < < < < < And I've been a member of Audible long enough to remember that these sales used to offer prices of $4 and $5, routinely--sometimes even $3. Inflation can't can't even come close to accounting for that.
Enough about price. I've failed to be impressed, in these Editor's Sales, with the titles offered in the sales. All that I'll say is the editors at Audible, on the 12th floor of some building in metropolitan New York, do not seem to have the same tastes as people in middle America and Florida (yes, here in the deep, deep South, Florida. We have native Floridian "Crackers," "snowbirds," people down here to work, you name the demographic category).
I hate to be such a curmudgeon (Actually, I love it

).
