Your local grocery store customer service desk probably handles a number of things you didn't know about
:
- US postage stamps, if not sold by the checkout cashiers;
- USPS agent --- outgoing only;
- FedEx agent --- outgoing only;
- UPS agent --- outgoing only;
- MoneyGram agent;
- Western Union agent;
- Event ticket agent. (TicketMaster, or a local competitor.);
- State lottery agent --- sales and payouts below a specific dollar amount;
- FTD agent --- usually upscale stores;
- Third party check cashing --- usually in low-income areas;
Not every store offers all of those services. I've forgotten what other services are commonly offered.
I'm starting to see voter registration forms at the customer service desk.
