Ah this is interesting; according to the Amazon website, the Oasis 2 indeed supports “4G LTE connectivity in US where available, 3G/EDGE/GPRS in other locations”; whereas the Oasis 3 supports 4G everywhere. Thank you for pointing this out!

As I’m not in the US I would need to get the Oasis 3 to benefit from 4G; is the speed difference worth it? I’m not planning on downloading audiobooks or anything big, mostly interested in the speed for loading Wikipedia article, which was very slow on my PW3.
