Around these parts, cash transactions are still close to 25% of the total number of transactions but the transaction value of cash is ~1% of the total transaction dollar amount. The only cash transaction I've done in the last month was purchasing a couple of $1 ice cream cones at McDonald's for a great-niece and great-nephew when we went for a walk while their family was visiting.
