Basic Kindle 10th gen error
I’ve owned more Kindles than I can remember since the Kindle 2, but never had an error on any of them. I got a new Basic Kindle 10th generation this week, only loaded two books on it, read on it for a couple of days, then I started getting the same error message when I was 95% through one of the books. When I tried to page forward an error box would appear saying I should delete the book from my Kindle then reload it from the cloud. I did this three times but I still got the error whenever I tried to page forward or backward. I opened the other book and had the same error and issue. Finally I restarted the Kindle and that seems to have resolved the issue for now.
Has anyone else encountered this error on the Basic Kindle 10th generation? I'm concerned I might have a bad device since I’ve never, ever encountered any error on any of the dozen or more Kindles I’ve owned over the years. BTW, both of those books work fine on my Kindle Basic 8th generation and the Kindle apps on my iPhone and iPad. Hopefully restarting cleared out any issues and it doesn’t happen again. However if this is a known and recurring issue then I will need to make a decision about returning this device.
