same problem here - all books are gone without warning!
But additional issues here:
- Before the update I could one-tap on the "On device" button and download several books at the same time - Now I have to make three clicks all over the screen for one book and wait until it is downloaded until I can click the next one! Or is there somewhere a collection function to download several books at once?
For me this means literally hours to download all my books with 3 clicks each again and then also manually set them as read - simply not acceptable.
- Overview (Tap on "Back" in the top left corner, usual view when not connected) does not show the thump nail pictures, just white placeholders and title + author in black writing. Could not find anything disabled in the settings that would explain this.
Also I am disconnected every time I look at the overview - when I change the view, I then have to connect again every time.
Also I am interested in the explanation for the "subscription model" change.
Not happy at all!
