I agree, it's not for the masses. But neither is MobileRead.

Look, I don't expect my grandmother to strip DRM and sideload books (the fact that she's dead would be an obstacle). But when someone does ask about it, I don't think it serves them well to make it sound fraught with peril or massively complicated.
