I manually installed the firmware on my first generation Aura, and everything appears to work as expected. I like the new interface for the most part; however, the overall performance seems a little slower compared to the previous version, but not intolerably so.
Things that bug me: The full settings menu is no longer accessible from within a book. You have to exit to the main screen to access it.
