^ If one wants cheap, the suggestion above is certainly the way to go. I would highly recommend that if one lives in Canada.

For those interested in the contents of the PRICED, CANADIAN, COPYRIGHTED EDITION that I mentioned, here's a complete listing:
  1. The Big Sleep
  2. Farewell, My Lovely
  3. The High Window
  4. The Lady in the Lake
  5. The Little Sister
  6. The Long Goodbye
  7. Playback
  8. Blackmailers Don't Shoot
  9. Smart-Aleck Kill
  10. Finger Man
  11. Killer in the Rain
  12. Nevada Gas
  13. Spanish Blood
  14. Guns at Cyrano's
  15. The Man Who Liked Dogs
  16. Pickup on Noon Street
  17. Goldfish
  18. The Curtain
  19. Try the Girl
  20. Mandarin's Jade
  21. Red Wind
  22. The King in Yellow
  23. Bay City Blues
  24. The Lady in the Lake (Short Story)
  25. Pearls Are a Nuisance
  26. Trouble is My Business
  27. I'll Be Watching
  28. The Bronze Door
  29. No Crime in the Mountains
  30. Professor Bingo's Snuff
  31. The Pencil
  32. English Summer

I've read about 2/3 of all of this over the years, and have a number of these in hardback. Almost all of these have chapter titles, so many here are of novella length. Too, some of these (I would guess) were serialized and then later expanded into novel length. The short story of 'The Lady in the Lake' (for example) has 8 chapters.
