True, not complicate, and scripting is the wrong word, I was replying fast.

The thing is, with two reader software I would need to understand how the underlying and notes system would work, how to choose which reader to use for any books ( the fact that the choice exists is itself annoying, “decision fatigue”) and I would need to understand what will happen the next firmware update..

Some users report slugginess is KOreader with their pocketbooks etc.

It’s another territory, an interesting one, but it’s for people who like to tinker, to hack, to explore etc.

This time I want to buy the product and be happy.

As I wrote in the original post: I want to reduce friction at a minimum, in terms of user experience. Maybe in the future.

I’ve posted a feature request in the appropriate thread. I hope it’ll be implemented.
