@4691mls - if problem persists get a Post Office Box, I got one when some letters and parcels went astray 10-15 years ago. It's about a mile and half away, so I'm guaranteed a 3 mile (5km) walk every couple of days. If I get a parcel they put a card in the box and I go next door to collect it.

IMO PO Boxes should be free and recipients should have to pay for PO Home delivery
