I think a reasonably priced simple smartphone would do very well. For example, I find the phone app on my iPhone much easier to use then my Dad's flip phone. We did go to Sprint and AT&T to see what phones were available and almost nothing and nothing better. What I'd like is a phone that has the phone app and maybe a few other apps. And it would be good to have a GPS so it can be tracked. You cannot o that with flip phones.

I was hoping the Motorola Razor was going to make a comeback, but I find that if it does, it will not be the same. It will be useless for my father. He doesn't need a foldable android smartphone.

The problem we have is that phones these days are not geared to people who do not want a smartphone or people who cannot use a smartphone. It's unfair really.
