A Sicilian Romance was the second of Ann Radcliffe's six novels, and was published in two volumes in 1790. Her name was not given in the early editions, though the book was identified as being by the author of
The Castles of Athlin and Dunblayne. It has a complex story with the usual ruined castle, and has major characters who commit murder and suicide.
