Post subject: MyScript'able' notes from scanned image?

I was all excited about MyScript notes from the trial version, trying it on various notes i made on the iLiad BEFORE reading the tips about keeping lines straight, not crossing out, etc.

But i imagined i could scan something i wrote on paper, and convert that to text. If i can't, there's no point paying for MyScript Notes. I can't possibly write much on the iLiad - i find the pen very hard to handle (arthritic fingers) and when i'm in full flow it can't 'flow' as fast as i do! (I write fiction, and no, doing it all on a keyboard to start with isn't an option either.)

Anyone know if i can start with a scanned .jpg or .png and make myself a .notes, .irx or .ps?

Please? Fingers crossed in hope...

ps At the moment I am cross posting everything between here and http://forum.irexnet.com/, don't know how many people look at both or which is more likely to get a swift response. Apologies if this annoys anyone.
Probably time i changed my sig to the same in both forums.
