Another book, one I have read (and it's a good one) is the one by the late Rick Hautala.

Why did I think Rick's Bedbugs was a short story collection?

I need to read more of his work. I have a number of his books, but so far I've only read Winter Wake and Night Stone.

I remember one of my earliest e-book purchases was Unticigahunk: The Complete Little Brothers. That one and The Mountain King have been on my TBR since forever.
