Remember, when regeneration occurs a massive amount of energy is released. See the following:
I doubt The Cloak Of Invisibility would be able to handle that much energy. Also, consider that at one point Darkseid had a protective force field that he thought offered him complete protection from everything. Unfortunately for him, he forgot one thing: He can be seen. That meant that light can get through. The Atom (Ray Palmer) shrunk to the size of a photon, went though the shield, entered Darkseid's brain and gave him a lobotomy from the inside.
Worse, your Cloak Of Invisibility only works one way (you can't be seen but you can see), it could act as a beacon since the energy can escape and allow everyone to pinpoint your location.
