Hey Alphapheemail!
Sorry I didn't realize anyone had commented on my post. Congrats to you too . How long have you had your reader?
Yesterday we, (finally) had some sunshine so I went to the park with my dog, and sat on a bench in 'dog land', let my dog off his leash and opened my Sony reader. I didn't get too much reading done, because the people near me were trying to see what I was reading and it was a bit disturbing to my concentration, as I'm a bit shy and hate to look like I'm showing off. I tried to be as inconspicuous as possible... not easy though since I always stick out here in Japan and people are always looking. Never mind, I'll get used to using it in public soon enough ...
Anyway, I CAN see now that reading outside is amazing. I had sunglasses on and the wind was fairly howling, but no page fluttering (or ripping). No movement at all - obviously, but for me that was really great, since the slightest thing bothering my eyes gives me a headache. I will definitely be taking my reader outside to read often, especially when the weather warms up a bit.
Are you using Calibre exclusively or are you using the Sony software too? I just discovered that I can't buy from certain bookstore without the Sony software installed.
