You’re really making a mountain out of an ants poop with this concern over the battery drain.
I recently found my old Aura H20 in a drawer. I have no idea how long it’s been sitting there but it’s beyond Spring of this year for sure. It had shut off to save itself but turned on easily with a push of the button.
Unless you plan on going for incredible amounts of time just leave it on in sleep mode.
