It is my opinion that being willing to pay more for books makes someone willing to pay more for books and nothing more. It says nothing about people who aren't willing to pay current retail new-release prices (and are willing to wait for prices to come down, or for sales/promotions, or simply choose to get their reading material from a library wherever possible).
