That's the latest US firmware (actually, that's 1.1.00.18040 and the latest US readers appear to have a slightly newer version than that, but anyway), while the OP's UK-sourced reader will have a V1.2 firmware, which is V1.1 + dd/mm/yyyy date format.
There is a V1.3, which appears to have some additional i18n features, but there's no official flasher for that (and if considering reflashing, I'd suspect that the OP might be better off to investigate the PRSCustomizer options first before trying to reflash the base image.)
