The power button is easy to get to in the Nook OEM case. It's actually a pretty good case, just worn out (so much so that the Glowlight+ can basically fall out of its base if you're not careful). I may just get a Fintie like yours.

No, it's not the home button. It's jumped back to the home page when the Glowlight+ was sitting down on the table, without my hands near it at all. I meant to mention in the last post that one of the books was downloaded from Barnes & Noble via WiFi and the other was loaded from my computer — so the length seems to be the issue, not the source. In both cases a reboot fixed the problem. I originally thought the upgrade fixed the problem with the first book, but then I realized that I wasn't able to load any books from the computer until after the upgrade. It's not a big deal (an easy fix or workaround) but I find it odd.
I'll probably post my error message on the Calibre forum today and see if any one else has run into this issue on Linux (I'm pretty sure it's related to MTP and Linux).
