4. my Kindle;
5. my wallet; and
6. my house and car keys

Not to mention at least some lip gloss and perhaps maybe a bit of powder for the shine on my big-assed nose are supposed to react to your decision that the stuff I carry with me -- most of which is FOR MY JOB -- is "unneeded"?

I could care less that you don't want to hear it. I don't particularly need or want to hear that some person who might be carrying things they absolutely need is invading your precious personal space.

You need more personal space?? Consider moving out of New York.
Actually, I carry on a daily basis:

1. My cell (a Blitz)
2. My jetbook.
3. My school books (varies daily from just 1-6)
4. My laptop (Acer Aspire so its small)
5. My own big assed nose (luckily its attached)
6. Lipgloss and other makeup for the day.
7. An asston of Avon catalogs (since that's how I put myself through school which also means carrying samples, or customer orders or show books)
8. And various cords for my devices.

Thats not including what I might need at school or on a job site for the day which could be anything from a ton of annoying papers and various disks, drives and drivel.

And since I live in UPSTATE NY, not downstate, (thank god) I am lucky enough to have acres and acres of personal space.

My bag issue is with people who do NOT need a ton of crap in a purse, insist that they do, and carry these HUGE bags around that yes, frankly, get in MY way, hit me in the face on buses or trains and make my life miserable. And no. I am not about to move, and yes, I've done my fair share of shoving a bag out of my face and saving myself a broken nose (and yes that's happened) and I have even less issue requesting that someone remove their bag from the last seat on the bus because their bag is so big, or heavy that it needs its own zip code. Seats are for people not their purses.

I am NOT speaking of people who carry a few things in a bag that fits everything neatly. And I'm not speaking of diaper bags (although they do get packed with a ton of stuff that isn't needed too)

I manage to carry an awful lot in a SMALL bag (the one school bag is in fact a very small Hello Kitty clutch from Avon that fits my Aspire to a T) or better yet in my pockets (oddly enough they make pants with these neat inventions these days) And I don't carry something that resembles carry on luggage or something that would look more appropriate climbing McKinley.

My hatred of getting slammed in the face with bags isn't a personal attack, I flat out just don't see the need some people have to carry so much. I've even griped at myself for having too much and work daily to carry less. And have been pretty darn lucky at eliminating a lot. Luckily, the school has lockers so some stuff can be left at school, and with things like my Acer, the Jetbook and my Blitz, I've got less to carry as long as I make sure everything is fully charged for the day.

Phone into the pocket, netbook into its bag or its case, then the jetbook into its case and shoved in with my netbook. The rest just depends.
