Cinnamon Skin is the next to last in the Travis McGee series by John D MacDonald. (I wish the rumor/urban legend/wishful thinking of a final McGee with "Black" in the title had been true...)

It has dropped to $2.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. As usual with all the McGee titles in the US, grab it now if you want it - they only very rarely go on sale and when they do, it's usually brief. And they are quite pricey when not on sale.
