I would also add that if Waveshare delivers a 13.3" eink display, as seem probable because they just released a 10.3" display, the possibility of hobbyists creating their own Eink screens, large enough for daily work using SSH or VNC, comprised of a large e-ink and a Raspberry pi will become real and the total cost could be much more affordable than a Boox Max.
