I've been keen on Chirp for a little while--haven't seen the negatives about them.
I've only downloaded two of their audiobooks, and haven't been able to listen to either one, because Chirp requires an app. And my smartphone just can't handle anymore of them, with their requisite storage needs, until I get get some more storage to supplement the measly internal storage that came with the phone, and to offset the bloatware that the phone installed in my phone.
Somewhere I saw a "satisfaction guaranteed" promise at Chirp--couldn't find it just now. Of course, such "guarantees" are only as good as the integrity of the company.
