Took a VERY brief peek in Notepad++ - looks like a JSON file with lots of possibly indexed data on the topic of the book? It's all non-binary, text and numeric, ~670K.

Was going to copy it in this morning, but discovered the book is now visible in the 1.16.0, so started a download. Received the error:

So, copied it into the My Kindle Content folder, removed the .apnx/.lpr added (assume this is the library placeholder, as they were the only files updated today), and relaunched Kindle for PC. It still sees the book, still errors on open or download, so I suspect I missed an index file or other. Since that machine has an older version of calibre plugins, pretty sure no point in opening there until I get a solid backup of that VM (yeah, I know, paraniod) and update.
