For sending a single book, I open the book folder, right click the file(s) I want to send, click Share, select Mail, and I'm in my default mail client with the selected file(s) attached.
If I want to send a bunch of books I save to a folder, zip the folder, upload the zip to a suitable place and mail the link to that.
I only want ONE outgoing mail audit trail.
