Yes, it's Mac OSX 10.15 which is currently in beta/preview. See the chatter between Kovid and Kevin about the changes being made by Apple and what they may mean to calibre and Sigil.

Personally, we have a couple of people who installed the preview on corporate Macs and they are getting little sympathy and no IT support as they run into issues.
