Depends on how you want to define compile. Using the older definitions such as assembling information collected from multiple sources into a single document, yes. Using the computer related definition of converting human readable code (well, other than APL which is not human readable in any form) into machine languare, byte-code, etc. that a computer can understand and use, no.
