Was looking just a little while ago at Google "Drive's" choices of cloud storage plans. Noticed that the two for-pay plans that they've got (100 GB and 200 GB; $1.99/mo. and $2.99/mo., respectively) have "extra benefits." Among them are credits for Google Play.
Google gave precious little other information about "Drive," where I was looking. How many credits do you get, how often, and how much value (dollars-off) do the credits have? I don't know--they didn't say. Do you get more credits or more value in credits if you select the 200 GB plan over the 100 GB plan? Again, I don't know.
Storage in the cloud is basically a commodity nowadays--if you need some extra storage for cheap, and the choice of paying by the month, instead of once a year, iDrive, OneDrive, Dropbox,
et al. don't seem to have much to distinguish themselves. The Google Play credits might be the one thing to tip the balance in favor of Google "Drive.'
Google's "Drive."
