I haven’t come across that programme, and can imagine it would be interesting. We had a great holiday in the UK some years ago chasing up our “ancestral homes”, ie a number of villages in Sussex and Hertfordshire where we had various agricultural labourers back in the 19th and early 20th century. We also met up with various distant cousins discovered through doing family history.
