We have a good lawyer, she's incredible. But the courts have too many cases so it all takes a long time. This judge, however, seems a good one. During the first court hearing one of the first things he said was that he wouldn't accept any delaying tactics. Which is my uncle's favourite tactics. So hopefully he'll get a move on next week.
The court case I mentioned earlier had the problem that the judgement was to set a precedent. And judges don't like to do that, which probably accounts for the delay.
On a more positive note: I'm sleeping in my own bed tonight. My friends will return between 3 and 4 am. So I'm going to walk Keira one last time in an hour or so and then I can hop on my bike and cycle home. I'm glad, because for tomorrow there's a weather warning for strong winds and thunderstorms.
