My reason for using a screen protector is that I don't use a case and leave my reader laying around and toss it in my backpack when I travel. I can care less if the body gets scratched up but I want a clear screen.

You're inviting disaster! One unlucky toss in that backpack and you can say goodbye to your ebook reader.
