I think the contrast on my O3 is very close to that of my Voyages. It may be that the whiter screen of the Voyage gives the appearance of more contrast but the sharpness of the text looks the same on both devices to me. I have 3 Voyages with pretty even screen coloring and they all have a very slight difference in contrast. As much as I love my Voyages, the 7" screen of the O3 makes it the winner for me. I haven't seen any flickering on mine, but I only have the warm light set at 2 if that makes any difference.
