A comment in passing: I almost never bought the Audible Daily Deal, but this is a book that's been on my horizon and I'd have bought it $1.95, except that I'm no longer a member.

I give Audible credit for mostly knowing what it's doing, but I'm certainly not going to rejoin in order to buy this for cheap. I wonder at their being more and more exclusionary. It's all the more reason to throw what business I can to Downpour, who in their democratic way lets anyone buy the Daily Steal.
