You're probably right. It also allows them to sell the Aura for $70 instead of the $120 that Kobo still sells them for (why, I don't know). I also understand that Walmart doesn't sell eBooks, but they do have their own (Walmart eBook) "front-end" into Kobo's eBook store.

As for the Clara, I know you can still buy them on Walmart's site, but (right now) Triplenet Pricing is the seller, not Walmart. (Who is Triplenet anyhow, and how do they get Kobos to sell? — just asking myself.)
