Sure but only 7.4% for this kind of device. That means the price before VAT would be 360$. The official list price is 299$ IIRC which means a 20% surcharge.

These 449CHF are just the regular German EU price and the regular German EU VAT but without the option of recieving compensation at customs.

The benefits of Switzerland's restrictions on commerical parallel imports! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!

ps: I've become rather hostile to this stuff when I realised in 2008 that buying a single 8800GT in Switzerland would buy me two at Newegg. The cards are manufactured in Asia and have lifetime warranties...
