Hi,
Believe it or not, I still have an old N647 Kobo wifi ereader that up until yesterday has been in good shape. I got the same error; when I turned on the Kobo (the WiFi has been turned off for years), I got that "Updating your software" message and now can no longer see the books. Is there any chance that anyone still has that SD image for the Kobo N647 and would also be willing to explain how to apply it to the device?

Thanks for any help on this one. I know my chances are super slim with such an old device and also an old thread.

EDIT: Actually reading the most recent posts I see I'm not the only person with an old Kobo!
