I didn't realize that the four colors (three colors and black) displayed for the Paperwhite in China are the same colors they already advertise for the bottom-of-the-line Fires here. It's "twilight" blue there also. The cyan color is called "sage" and the magenta color is called "plum" (which actually fits).

When I bought my bottom of-the-line Fire (now a previous generation) the blue was darker. They called it "marine" blue. The red one was named "punch" red and the yellow one was called "canary" yellow.

The names for generation before this one were... blue (just blue), magenta and the orange-ish one was called "tangerine."

And... after buying the "marine" blue Fire tablet, I bought a black Fintie cover... and the only blue that ever shows up is around the exposed edges.

I think I was going to get a blue Fintie case, but it didn't match the "marine" blue and I thought that would look odd.
