You mean save the entire epub? It already flushes all current changes in that codeview window to the disk. Just as it does with every "open-with" editor.

Automatic saving the entire epub before launching PageEdit is not going to happen as there may be many things you do not want saved. Even BookView did not do that. The user will have to do that themselves.

Please note with the Inspector in PageEdit you can see the entire source tree of xhtml in case you do not like the generated code and decide to change it before saving and exiting back to Sigil.

I can add an action to Save and Exit as one icon. Right now you can use the save and exit icons which is just 2 clicks.
