Overdrive support was first released on the Aura ONE and has been added to all devices released since then. So, the Aura H2O Edition 2 will have support but might need a firmware update. The original Aura H2O will not have support.

If you have multiple Kobo devices using the same Kobo account, they all receive the same books from the Kobo store. That means if you connect one to a library through OD, all the devices can download books borrowed from that library. And it doesn't matter whether the books are borrowed through the device or through OD. Whether that is suitable for your case will depend on how similar your reading tastes are.

Other than that, as @geek1011 said, the books can be borrow via OD and downloaded and added to the device using Adobe Digital Editions.
