Hey there, I just got my Kindle 2 last week and saw that there was a contest. I'd like to enter, but I doubt I have the time to make much of an impression on any since I have no time to interact on the Kindle boards. Now, the reason I want to enter is because of my mom. The reason I bought my Kindle 2 is because my mom fell in love with one she was able to borrow for a day from her dayjob in a college library. When she told me I was getting a K2 she sighed and said that she was jealous. It was a stretch for me to afford one for myself in the first place, but it would make my mom's year if she got one. Her husband (my step-dad) is in the process of surviving cancer and we lost a family member to alcoholism last year. She's dealing with a lot of stuff and if I could luck into another Kindle 2 (or had the money for one) it would provide her with a great way to escape her tension for a while. I think it's too late, but hey, I had to give it a try. Thanks!
