I believe FrustratedReader was giving you an alternative way to download Kindle books when/if Kindle for PC/Mac 1.17 stops working.

Kindle for PC already doesn't work on Linux at all, so they had to find another way to save Kindle books.

Frustrated, if I'm wrong, please do correct me.
