Roughly the going wage. JAVA programmers here get $60-$70 USD here, more in Austin Texas.

$50/HR works out to $90-$100 thousand a year, depending on holiday and sick/vacation time. It's not what you earn, it's what you keep. That's why everybody and his dog seem to be migrating to Texas. . .
