That has always been my experience on my various Onyx devices with their various firmwares over my short history using their products.
I wonder what could account for your differing experience...

Hi, you just unfreeze the 3rd party apks and the apks will be shown in "Open with", because any new apks installed will be automatically set to freeze list unless we change the setting.
