KT4 on 5.11, serial G0910L. I used to own a jailbroken KPW1 and it worked very well. Because of all the new features in KT4, I'm considering jailbreaking for a few features. It would be very helpful if someone could verify these for me.

* Changing font rendering options
* Custom screensavers

That's it!

I hate the new interface and the fonts seem subpar. I guess the UI is here to stay, but if I can do something about the fonts, I should.

What are the risks (if any?) associated with jailbreaking with this method? Have there been any kindles (KT4) permanently bricked/damaged from this?
