I just would like to note that I had no problem installing the hotfix after updating to the latest firmware my PW4.
What I did was (somehow redundant I suspect, but better safe than sorry):

Apply the latest bridge patch
Copy the new mrpi extension
Apply the new firmware
Apply the hotfix
Reinstall all the hacks

No issue at all on PW4
