Tarana, the collections I mean are not in Calibre - I use Calibre to transfer books to my Kindle - but these are just the collections Amazon itself allows us to make on the kindle. I know Calibre itself has some kind of collection function too, but I haven't tried using it yet.
Tomsem, so it sounds like I just need to give it some time and it will eventually place all books in their proper collections? I'll wait and see. Hopefully it will happen! The thing is it doesn't seem to be adding any new books at all to my collections even after hours have passed - numbers are the same now as they were earlier in the day.
Do you mean more than 1000 books on the device, or more than 1000 books in a specific collection? I have more than 1000 books on my Kindle total, but the collections themselves are not that big. I have several collections and if I remember my largest collection on my old Kindle was about 150 books.
