Likewise. I have had a lot of authors for whom I hung out for their latest (eg Stephen King and Dean Koontz) but I have never re-read any of theirs. On the other hand, I have read (I think) everything Ben Bova has written (not those he collaborated on) and re-read most. And I will do it again, because every time I read, I get more out of the books. The same may well apply to James S.A. Corey (who is actually two authors collaborating on The Expanse series) ... I'm finding the books illuminating in a way the TV series is not. That is entertainment. The books give one much to contemplate. I'm only on my first read through the series (halfway through book 8, and 9 has not even been released yet). Bova is definitely a favourite. So is Stephen Baxter. Can you tell I like SciFi? and alternate history?
